Relaxing & Shopping
Today was just relaxing. A trip to the Apple Store to check out the latest products, some shopping down Regent St. trying to take the London Eye (postponed until friday because of uncertain weather conditions) and me shopping remote controlled helicopter... (Really looking to buy a couple of extra socks, but what the heck...) Oh, and yes, we picked up two helicopters... The other one is for you, Kjell Ove! Looking forward to seeing you again on monday night! Then we’ll get some real flying going! These, amongst other things, were purchased at what must be Londons biggest toy-store, Hamleys... 7 floors of toys...
We managed to go to the movies today as well, Harry Potter & The Phoenix Order, after perhaps the best meal at an awesome italian restaurant situated near Marble Arch. Unfortunately we did some rather bad planning, so the meal was cut short in order to make it to the cinema in time for the movie (which turned out to start ~40 minutes late, so we could have stayed in the restaurant instead, but who knew...)
The absolutely best norwenglish came from Lene today... As we were leaving the cinema, a woman in front of us lost her Oyster card (the underground pass plus money/stuff). Lene, as the honest and sweet person she is, picked it up, but stumbled seriously in the english when she burst out “Sorry, did you lost it?” Sweet...:)
